Blueprint Emporium — a two day offshoot shopping event that happens alongside Singapore Fashion Week — is back for the sixth year running! This is a shopping event where you can discover the latest up-and-coming designer labels and shop ‘til you drop! Most of these brands are not stocked in Asia yet, so you will definitely score unique finds.
We visited for a behind-the-scenes peek and picked out some brands that you should definitely look for this weekend.
1. Effortless office wear - Aly & Rachelle
This Hong Kong based label serves up an affordable luxury brand for the entry-level designer market. Whether you are a power dresser on Mondays or have a penchant for a more feminine persona for your after work drinks ensemble, you will be able to find beautiful designs of high quality.
2. Super cool kicks - Dusty-mauve
With the sneaker trend looking like it’s here to stay, you are bound to want something from this Korean shoe label. You will find lots of comfortable sneakers in striking metallic hues and funky patterns.
3. One of a kind clutches - One.61
For those who are always on the look out for statement bags to wow the crowd, this Singapore-based accessory label is definitely for you. Their first collection of clutches were modeled after the some of the stunning architecture in Singapore like the Esplanade and Marina Bay Sands.
4. Swimwear for Asians - K.blu Swim
This brand was launched after the founder realised that there’s a dearth of smaller-sized, fashionable swimwear that flatters the petite Asian frame. Designed with the Asian body in mind, K.blue Swim offers a great selection of swimwear in softer fabrics that provide fuller coverage and increased support.
5. Jewellery with a story - Yuki Mitsuyasu
Psst, any fashion devotee who makes a purchase at Blueprint will receive three months free digital magazine subscription plus one free magazine! You can choose between Her World, Female & Nuyou.
